The Conjuring
This is a horror movie and is about a family who move into an old house that is haunted. The house is haunted because a witch used to live there who sacrificed her baby and then killed herself.
Ed and Lorraine Warren are paranormal investigators who are asked to help them to get rid of the ghost who is trying to possess the mother and get her to kill her kids. This movie is really cool because it’s based on a true story and all the characters were real people. My favourite part is when they do an exorcism. I like this movie, and it isn’t that scary.
The Conjuring 2
This is the second Conjuring movie and is about a different family who are experiencing paranormal activity and need help from Ed and Lorraine Warren. In this movie the daughter keeps getting possessed by a spirit but when Ed and Lorraine search the house, they can’t find any paranormal activity. Meanwhile Lorraine keeps seeing a nun, but she doesn’t know why.
It turns out there are two spirits in the house and only one of them is evil. This movie is really exciting, and I think it’s better than the first one. It’s also based on a true story, set in Britain, so I think that makes it good.
Annabelle
I haven’t finished this movie because I got bored halfway through. One night, devil worshipers break into a couples’ house and attack them. They try to summon a demon and smear blood on Annabelle (the doll) which turns the doll into an evil spirit. Lol, no. This is when I stopped watching.
This movie has a link to the conjuring movies because Ed Warren has the Annabelle doll in his house (we see it in the conjuring movies). I think this movie is boring, and doesn’t really make sense.
